About Alta Frequenza

Alta Frequenza was founded in 1981 as an independent Corsican radio station with a cultural mission and a commitment to giving island residents a voice. Its bilingual French and Corsican service combines major news bulletins and frequent updates with politics, society, culture, heritage, sport, history, and discussion.

Music programs give substantial space to Corsican artists while also exploring rock and other wider repertoires. Alta Frequenza broadcasts through an island-wide FM network, including Ajaccio, Bastia, Corte, Calvi, Porto-Vecchio, and Bonifacio, and is available through web streaming, social platforms, and a mobile app.
