About Alternative FM

Alternative FM is a community radio station based in Persan in the Val-d'Oise department. Its history began in 1982 with Radio Bellovaque in Beaumont-sur-Oise, while the current Alternative FM name was adopted in 2001. The station broadcasts on 96.7 and 106.5 FM and streams online.

Programs cover local and regional news, social and cultural subjects, schools, discrimination, exclusion, solidarity, the environment, and community life. Alternative FM also runs radio workshops for young people and supports local artists through interviews and music programming.
