About bonnFM

bonnFM is the campus radio station for the University of Bonn and Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. The present service was formed in 2013 from two earlier university radio projects and is produced by students for the academic community and the wider city.

Volunteer editors cover university policy, research, culture, concerts, local events and student life, combining reports and interviews with a varied music selection. The station also provides practical tips for studying and going out in Bonn and Sankt Augustin. New contributors can learn presenting, journalism, production and technical work through direct participation. Listen online for an authentic student perspective on the region.
