Bremen Zwei

About Bremen Zwei

Bremen Zwei is Radio Bremen's cultural and information service. It looks beyond short headlines through extended interviews, reports, essays and documentaries, with particular attention to arts, society and intellectual life in Bremen, Bremerhaven and Germany.

The music selection deliberately reaches beyond a mainstream playlist, moving through singer-songwriters, sophisticated pop, soul, jazz and classical recordings. Literature, theatre, film, radio plays and live cultural events receive dedicated space, while programmes such as Sounds and Late Nite Sounds explore distinctive musical themes. Listen online for thoughtful speech radio and adventurous music presented with the time and context that complex subjects deserve.
