About Calimbre Radio

Calimbre Radio is a 24-hour online music station based in Gran Canaria. The project grew from a radio program created and presented by Santy Alonso and has developed a distinctive sound centered on music made in the Canary Islands.

The station actively promotes releases by Canarian artists and labels while keeping its selection open to music from elsewhere. Its broad palette includes chillout, lounge, reggae, pop, rock, nu jazz, funk, soul, nu-disco, house, deep and soulful sounds, electronic music, Afro styles, and Latin house.
