About Can Radyo

Can Radyo is an İzmir station broadcasting on 93.3 FM from its own facilities at Yamanlar in the city's Karatepe area. The current operator acquired the station in June 1994, and its terrestrial signal covers İzmir and communities within an approximate 100-kilometer radius.

Since 1996, the schedule has placed particular emphasis on Anatolian folk music. The station describes its purpose as preserving Anatolian culture among people who moved to İzmir while providing a local public voice and contributing to a more humane city.
