About Canal B

Canal B is a non-commercial community station that has broadcast across Rennes since 1984. A team of employees and more than ninety volunteers produces a continuous service on 94.0 FM, DAB+, and the internet, with local reporting and strong support for independent and emerging artists.

The schedule combines news from Rennes, social and environmental issues, media education, sound creation, and culture in forms including cinema, literature, theatre, and visual arts. Its diverse specialist music programs range across rock, pop, soul, reggae, electronic music, metal, punk, and experimental sounds.
