About Canal FM
Canal FM is a local radio service based in Calheta on São Jorge Island in the Azores. It broadcasts on 100.5 and 92.7 FM, providing terrestrial coverage for communities on the island while its internet stream makes the station available to Azorean listeners living elsewhere.
The station follows a varied music format rather than limiting its output to one narrow style. Its playlist brings together established favorites and newer popular songs, creating an accessible local soundtrack for listeners in Calheta and across São Jorge.
