About Flash Radio

Flash Radio is a nonprofit Czech online station centered on music from the 1980s. It broadcasts 24 hours a day throughout the year and is rebuilding an expanding playlist for listeners at home, at work and on mobile devices. The project provides separate internet streams and invites its audience to send comments and suggestions directly to the studio.

Alongside its continuous 1980s selection, Flash Radio announces themed evening specials and a presenter-led Sunday evening program. Its earlier schedule included focused editions devoted to new wave, new romantic, rock, pop rock, eurodance and Italo disco, as well as rarities that receive little exposure elsewhere. Archives of selected presenter-led broadcasts are available through the station's Mixcloud page.
