About Fréquence Sillé

Fréquence Sillé is a non-commercial community station founded in 1991 in Sillé-le-Guillaume. It broadcasts on 97.9 FM across a radius of more than thirty kilometres and serves the Pays de Sillé and Haute Sarthe from studios in the Paul Scarron school campus and the town centre.

Local news and voices cover culture, sport, society, education, employment, the environment, disability, associations, and everyday community life. The station has a longstanding role in media education, airs work made by students, uses a mobile studio at events, and pairs this content with pop-rock, French songs, and local artists.
