About Globule Radio
Globule Radio is a local, independent radio station serving the Chamonix Valley in France. It broadcasts on 90.5 FM and has been authorized to transmit on this frequency since 2017, with on-air broadcasting beginning that year. The station was founded by Jean-Claude Arragon and Jessica Compois, with initial radio workshops called "Mini Globule" starting in 2015. Globule Radio airs daily programs and service segments covering local news, event and exhibition agendas, weather, job listings, ski slope conditions, lift and train operations, and hiking trail accessibility. The station operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is based at Place Edmond Desailloud in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.
