About Hiper FM

Hiper FM is a Portuguese generalist station based in Rio Maior. Founded in 1988 as Rádio Cidade de Rio Maior, it adopted its current name in 2004 and has developed a youthful, informal presentation style aimed primarily at listeners aged 15 to 34.

The station mixes contemporary music, entertainment and humour with its role as a regional broadcaster for central Portugal. Its measured audience reaches the districts of Santarém and Leiria as well as parts of Lisbon and Setúbal, and its website extends the Hiper FM brand online.
