About Inter FM

Inter FM is a volunteer-run multilingual community station founded in Oslo in 1985. It broadcasts daily from 20:00 to 23:00 on 105.8 FM and is designed primarily for minority-language audiences, supporting integration and mutual understanding between different cultures and Norwegian society.

Current language services include Turkish, Azerbaijani, Tigrinya, Urdu, Arabic and Somali, alongside Norwegian and English content. Programs discuss current affairs and explain aspects of the Norwegian system in listeners' own languages, while music from their cultures adds entertainment and a sense of connection.
