About Iris FM
Iris FM is a regional station based in Samora Correia and broadcasting on 91.4 FM across Greater Lisbon, Ribatejo and the Oeste. It began on 1 December 1985 with the purpose of giving local residents a voice and remains closely connected to the communities around Benavente.
The schedule combines regional and national information with music and entertainment. Specialist output includes O Povo a Cantar, a long Sunday programme devoted to Portuguese folklore, fado, community groups and listener requests, while the live stream is available around the clock.
