About Kiel FM
Kiel FM is the radio service of Offener Kanal Kiel and broadcasts on 101.2 FM in Kiel and the surrounding area, as well as online. It gives residents access to professional studios and training so they can create and transmit their own programmes.
The resulting schedule is deliberately diverse, including community discussions, university radio, local culture, religious and minority programmes, rock, dance, electronic music and personal specialist selections. Individual producers remain responsible for their content, allowing subjects and voices outside conventional station formats to reach the air. Listen online for non-commercial citizen broadcasting that reflects the varied interests, languages and communities of Schleswig-Holstein's capital.
