About LFM

LFM is a Category A community station based in Mantes-la-Jolie and broadcasting on 95.5 FM across the Mantois and Seine Aval area. Created in 2009, it grew from Val-Fourré with a mission to present neighbourhood life through voices that are often underrepresented in conventional media.

Local news, music, culture, health, education, and social issues are explored through interviews, debate, reports, and podcasts. The station gives particular attention to women, young people, equality, and action against discrimination, while radio workshops and partnerships with schools strengthen participation and media skills.
