About Mix

MIX is a student radio station broadcasting on 89.5 FM. The project grew from a school radio club requested by students in 1987 and opened its full service in October 1996 after years spent developing skills in presenting, production, editorial planning, and technical operation.

A daily news program covers international, national, and local events using agency reports, regional newspapers, national press, and local correspondents. Weather, cultural agendas, nearby events, horoscopes, reports, special editions, and student-produced features are interspersed with daytime and overnight music programming.
