About Nordfjord Nærradio

Nordfjord Nærradio is a volunteer-run local station founded in 1987 at Fjordane Folk High School in Eid. Today it broadcasts from Nordfjordeid with contributors from Stad and Gloppen, supported by an extensive archive of programs preserved from much of the station's history.

Live output includes Wednesday radio bingo, Friday evening music and phone-in conversation, and broadcasts of Stad municipal council meetings. Its FM transmitters serve Eid on 107.2, Sandane on 104.3, Hunvikfjellet on 106.2 and Davikneset on 105.8, with online listening available worldwide.
