About Pastel FM

Pastel FM is an independent, non-commercial, secular community station created in Roubaix in 1980 by the RBC Bas Canal association. Broadcasting on 99.4 FM, it serves the Lille, Roubaix, and Tourcoing area and reaches neighbouring parts of Nord and Pas-de-Calais.

The station promotes civic participation, cultural exchange, and dialogue among the many communities of the metropolitan area. French is the principal language, while community programs pair it with Arabic, Kabyle, Berber, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and other languages, combining local voices and public discussion with music from varied cultures.
