About RAC1

RAC1 is a private Catalan-language general-interest station launched in May 2000. Its fast-paced schedule combines news, current affairs, interviews, humour, sport and accessible discussion, looking at events in Catalonia and the wider world from a distinctly Catalan perspective. The network has grown into one of the country's leading radio services.

Flagship programmes include El món a RAC1, La competència, Versió RAC1, Via lliure, No ho sé and the sports show Tu diràs. This mix carries listeners from breakfast news through daytime entertainment and late-evening analysis. RAC1 offers live streaming as well as extensive on-demand audio, allowing complete programmes and individual segments to be heard after broadcast.
