About Radio 5 Ełk
Radio 5 Ełk is the Ełk service of the regional broadcaster Radio 5 in northeastern Poland. An independent Ełk programme and newsroom were established in 2002, extending a radio project that first went on air in Suwałki in 1991.
The station combines popular music with local news, cultural and community information, competitions and charity initiatives. Its Ełk journalists cover the city and neighboring districts, while the internet stream makes the regional service available outside the terrestrial area.
