About Ràdio 90

Ràdio 90 is an independent, nonprofit and advertising-free station serving Olot and central Garrotxa. The project began in 1990 and started regular broadcasting in 1993, supported and financed by its collaborators. It deliberately gives space to music, ideas and experiences that are often absent from conventional commercial radio.

The station's output ranges across rock, electronic and experimental music, hip-hop, reggae, jazz, blues and sounds from around the world. Cultural reporting and programmes such as Garrotxa confidencial add interviews and independent local journalism, while other shows explore books, nature and community organisations. Ràdio 90 streams live and maintains a substantial podcast archive.
