About Radio B FM
Radio B is a nonprofit, noncommercial community station broadcasting on 90.0 FM from Bourg-en-Bresse. Created in 1979 and officially authorized in 1982, it is on air around the clock. Around sixty volunteers and partner associations contribute to more than fifty programs, making the station a forum for local information, public discussion and community initiatives across the Ain area.
The schedule covers society, languages, culture, sport, literature and the work of local associations, alongside event announcements and educational radio workshops. Music is equally varied, moving between contemporary sounds, reggae, accordion, world music, jazz, independent pop, rock, rap and French chanson. Radio B also records podcasts and takes its studio to public events and neighbourhood projects in Bourg-en-Bresse.
