About Radio BeO
Radio BeO is a German-language Swiss station founded for the Bernese Oberland and on air since 6 June 1987. Its program combines major hits, especially music from the 1980s and 1990s, with a strong presence for Swiss artists. Regional reporting covers politics, business, culture, sport and society, while evening and weekend schedules add specialist, church and traditional-music programs.
The FM network includes 88.8 across Bern, the Aare and Gürbe valleys and the Thun area, 96.8 around Interlaken, 94.9 in Brienz and Meiringen and local frequencies for Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Adelboden, Gstaad and Lenk. Radio BeO is also available on DAB+ in the Bern and Fribourg region and through several official MP3 web streams.
