About Radio BLV

Radio BLV is a noncommercial community station founded in 1982 and broadcasting on 93.6 FM from Bourg-lès-Valence. It serves Valence Romans Agglo and nearby parts of Drôme and Ardèche. Volunteers create most of the programs and music selections with support from the station's staff, keeping the schedule closely connected to local people and associations.

The station promotes popular education, sustainable local development, multiculturalism and opposition to discrimination. Programs explore culture, society, history, arts and community initiatives, while an eclectic music service seeks out sounds beyond familiar commercial playlists. Radio BLV also holds media workshops and produces live broadcasts from festivals, exhibitions, youth forums and other events across the region.
