About Radio Bolero

Radio Bolero is a specialist station founded in Alcoy, the hometown of singer Camilo Sesto, and broadcasting locally on 97.7 FM. It was created by director and producer Carol Blanquer to give the bolero a dedicated home on Spanish radio and to connect romantic-music listeners around the world.

The station plays international boleros 24 hours a day while also sharing stories, anecdotes and information about the genre. Interviews and features give singers, songwriters, composers and musicians space to present their work, supporting both preservation and discovery.
