About Radio Bouton
Radio Bouton is a school and community station founded in 1990 by and for children at the Institut Médico-Educatif de Boutancourt in the Ardennes. Its original radio workshop was designed to carry the voices of young people with intellectual disabilities beyond the institution. The station now broadcasts around the clock on 90.6 FM and reaches much of the department.
Inclusion, education and local participation remain central to the project. Residents, volunteers and staff produce regional information and programs about culture, sport, books and public discussion. Music ranges from French songs and hits to country, rock, tropical sounds, retro selections and club mixes. Radio Bouton also supports community initiatives and events across the Ardennes.
