About Radio Campus Montpellier
Radio Campus Montpellier is a noncommercial student and community station broadcasting on 102.2 FM around the clock. Its association was created in June 2009 by students and staff from Montpellier's universities and SupAgro, and the station began broadcasting in June 2010. It provides a practical media space connecting campus communities with the wider city.
Programs cover student life, culture, science, news, ecology, research, employment, innovation and technology. Specialist music shows explore hip-hop, jazz, classical music, rock, punk, metal and electronic sounds, with strong support for emerging local artists through interviews, filmed studio sessions and concerts. Training helps students develop radio production, interviewing, reporting and presentation skills.
