About Radio Carbonia

Radio Carbonia began on 2 July 2016 as a cultural and social project connecting young people who had left Carbonia with those who remained. Initially a web radio broadcasting symbolically from the Great Mine of Serbariu, it became a licensed local FM station on 107.1 MHz in 2017.

The frequency later became part of the 90-4You network, whose music format centers on the 1990s with selected current songs. The Radio Carbonia association continues to create local information, social, cultural, and entertainment content from the city and participates in community events and initiatives.
