About Radio Chatel - RTL 2

Radio Châtel RTL2 broadcasts on 98.8 FM from Châtel in the Abondance valley and serves the Portes du Soleil mountain area. The station began in 1984 and became an RTL2 affiliate in 2001. Alongside the network's pop-rock music, it maintains a local service designed for residents, seasonal workers and visitors to the resort.

Local segments cover news, mountain weather, events, small advertisements, regional artists and emerging talent. This practical information helps listeners follow conditions and activities around Châtel and the surrounding ski area. Podcasts and online listening extend the station's locally produced material beyond the valley.
