About Rádio Clube de Pombal

Rádio Clube de Pombal is a cooperative local station broadcasting on 97 FM from Pombal. Its first experimental transmission took place on 25 April 1986, and the Rádio Clube de Pombal cooperative was formally established later that year.

The station was created to give Pombal its own voice and continues to report on municipal affairs, community organisations, culture and local sport. Music and general programming accompany that information service, while online listening carries the broadcast beyond central Portugal.
