About Rádio Elvas

Rádio Elvas began regular broadcasts on 10 February 2001 and transmits on 91.5 FM to eastern Alentejo and neighbouring Extremadura. It belongs to the Alentejo em FM group alongside Rádio Campo Maior and Rádio Nova Antena.

The schedule features regional news, press reviews, sport, talk and listener requests, as well as music programmes devoted to fado and songs with stories. Health, food, history, environment and European affairs broaden a service built around Elvas and its community.
