Radio Galère

About Radio Galère

Radio Galère is an independent community station broadcasting on 88.4 FM and DAB+ from Marseille. Active since 1982, it works closely with residents and grassroots organizations, particularly in the city's working-class neighborhoods, and creates space for viewpoints often overlooked elsewhere.

Its volunteer-produced schedule includes news, social struggles, neighborhood life, culture, round-table discussions, field broadcasts, and radio workshops. Music ranges from conscious rap, punk, metal, raï, and zouk to country, musette, noise, poetry, and experimental sound, reflecting the station's deliberately open format.
