About Radio Hallingdal
Radio Hallingdal is a local radio service for Hallingdal and neighboring parts of Buskerud, covering communities including Hol, Ål, Gol, Hemsedal, Nesbyen, Flå, and Nore og Uvdal. Its roots reach back to Hol Bygderadio, which made its first broadcast in 1985, and the station has built an extensive archive of regional voices and events.
The schedule combines local news, interviews, history, music, and community information. Radio Hallingdal also carries municipal council meetings in audio and video, while seasonal and magazine programs provide weather reports, travel advice, greetings, and updates from local organizations. The station is available online and on several FM frequencies throughout the region.
