About Radio Hora

Radio Hora is a historic Spanish news format created by Enrique Dausá and Rigoberto Ferrera Álvarez in 1972. Its signature is a continuous clock tick, the exact time every minute and short headlines delivered at a rapid pace. The programme first became famous on Madrid's Radio España and returned for a new digital era under Gerardo Quintana.

The live morning edition covers politics, the economy, society, culture and other current stories in concise form. In 2026 it airs from 07:00 to 09:00 on Radio Intercontinental 95.4 FM, while Radio Hora's own online service combines information with selected Spanish and international music around the clock. Recent programmes are also available as podcasts.
