About Radio Italia
Radio Italia solomusicaitaliana was founded in Milan in 1982 as Italy's first private station devoted entirely to Italian music. Its national radio service is joined by radioitalia.it, Radio Italia TV, dedicated apps, and the Solomusicaitaliana record label.
The schedule promotes Italian artists through presenter-led programs, charts, interviews, news, and live performances. Radio Italia Live brings musicians into the studio, while the annual Radio Italia Live concert and extensive coverage of the Sanremo Festival connect the station with major public music events.
