About Radio L'Aquila 1

Radio L'Aquila 1 began as Radio Valleverde on January 14, 1982, broadcasting from Paganica on 93.5 FM. Renamed in the late 1990s, it returned to air within ten days of the 2009 earthquake and prioritized practical information for the affected community.

The 24-hour service combines local and national news, weather, interviews, culture, social and political affairs, and Catholic topics with contemporary music and themed selections. Programs also explore books, travel, lifestyle, and the wider life of L'Aquila, with listening available on 93.5 FM, DAB+, and online.
