About Radio Lora

Radio Lora is a non-commercial community station for greater Zürich and the oldest community radio in Switzerland. Founded in 1983, it broadcasts around the clock with roughly 300 volunteer program makers. Shows in about 20 languages reflect the city's cultures and opinions, while the station gives space to subjects, music, experimental formats and radio art often absent from mainstream media.

Queer-feminist reporting is a permanent part of the schedule, and the RADIA editorial team produces the entire Monday program. Radio Lora also supports intercultural participation and independent local journalism. The station can be heard through its terrestrial and digital distribution in the Zürich region and worldwide via its official live stream, with schedules and program information available on lora.ch.
