About Ràdio País
Ràdio País is an independent associative station created in Béarn in 1983 to give the Gascon form of Occitan a public voice. Its bilingual service broadcasts on 89.8 FM around Pau, 101.5 FM in Bigorre and Tarbes, and 90.8 FM around Auch in Gers.
The station brings different varieties of Gascon to the air through news, conversation, language features, stories and cultural programmes. Local music and community reporting connect listeners across southern Gascony, while the live stream and audio archive extend access beyond its FM areas.
