About Rádio Portalegre
Rádio Portalegre is a cooperative generalist station that began regular broadcasting on 9 November 1989. Its 100.5 FM service covers the district, while 104.5 FM provides additional reception within the city of Portalegre.
The newsroom follows events across Alto Alentejo through reports, interviews, debate and investigative work. Municipal affairs, public safety, culture, education and sport are combined with presenter-led music and community programmes.
