About Radio RaBe

Radio RaBe is an independent community station in Bern built around free radio, new voices and musical diversity. Its schedule mixes local information, multilingual and intercultural programs, political discussion, radio art and specialist music spanning jazz, blues, punk, hip hop, electronic sounds and global traditions. Many programs are produced by community contributors and volunteer broadcasters.

RaBe broadcasts from the Bantiger transmitter on 95.6 FM within roughly 40 kilometres of Bern and is available on DAB+ across a broad region from Yverdon and Aarau to Meiringen and Gstaad. The station also provides MP3 and high-definition web streams, cable distribution and podcasts on major platforms. Its website includes the live schedule, playlist, recordings and cultural event recommendations.
