Radio Rute is the local public station of Rute in Córdoba province, broadcasting on 107.8 FM. Its reporting covers municipal decisions, education, health, culture, sport, festivals and the associations and residents active in the town.

The schedule combines news bulletins and interviews with magazines, specialist programmes, music and special broadcasts from community events. Radio Rute also works alongside the local publication El Canuto, creating a wider municipal information service whose reports and audio help residents follow both immediate developments and the cultural life of Rute.
