About Radio SUN

Radio SUN is a long-established Finnish regional station whose history began in December 1985. Its frequencies serve Pirkanmaa, northern Satakunta and parts of Kanta-Häme, placing local coverage at the centre of a large inland listening area.

Finnish pop and iskelmä are blended with selected international songs, local news and topical discussion. Regional events, sport, business and culture receive sustained attention, giving the service a distinctly western Finnish voice throughout the day.
