About Radio Ujo

Radio Ujo is a community station run by Asociación Cultural Radio Ujo in the Asturian parish of Ujo. Its history reaches back to 1987, and the current project is supported by members, contributors and listeners rather than operating as a large commercial network.

The station combines local news and interviews with live coverage of regional football, archived podcasts and music-led shows. Formula Ujo provides a broad radio mix, while Diario de un Metalhead explores heavier sounds and Movida 90s revisits another musical era, giving the schedule a varied but distinctly local character.
