Radio Woodstock 100.1, known as WDST, is a station originating from the United States, based in Woodstock, New York. It first signed on April 29, 1980, founded by Gary Chetkof under CHET-5 Broadcasting, starting with a free-form format blending folk, jazz, and rock. By the mid-1980s, it shifted to progressive rock, later pioneering the adult album alternative (triple A) format in the 1990s. Operating from studios in a former West Hurley church, it broadcasts on 100.1 FM, reaching cities like Kingston and Poughkeepsie, and remains one of the few independent stations in the country, bolstered by listener support since 2016.
The station plays a mix of classic rock and new rock hits, featuring artists from the Woodstock era to modern acts like The Black Keys. Its programming includes shows like "Acoustic Breakfast" and "The Blues Break," hosted by local DJs, offering an eclectic rock experience. Radio Woodstock 100.1 is available live and online.
