About RDF

RDF 102.7, short for Radio Diffusione Firenze, was founded in Florence in 1975 and became a music-led station in the mid-1980s. Its format combines carefully selected music with more than twenty live news bulletins and an agenda of nightlife, theatre, and music events in Tuscany.

As the official radio station for the Florence-Pisa-Livorno highway, RDF supplies traffic updates for that route and other important Tuscan roads. It reaches nine provinces in Tuscany, broadcasts on 102.7 FM in its core areas, and is available through DAB, online streaming, and mobile apps.
