About ROXX Radio

ROXX Radio launched in 2018 as Flanders' first national digital rock station. Available through DAB+, internet, an app and digital television, it treated rock as a broad quality label rather than limiting the playlist to one narrow subgenre.

The station mixed recognised rock and pop-rock across several decades with presenter-led programmes and music information. The original independent ROXX service ended its broadcasts in October 2024 after approximately six and a half years on the Flemish radio landscape.
