About Spazio Radio

Spazio Radio is one of Rome's pioneering local stations, beginning experimental broadcasts in 1976 and continuous service in July 1978. After spending about twenty years as the capital's only all-jazz station, it developed a predominantly rock-oriented schedule with space for punk, folk, world music, and less frequently heard sounds.

The station also carries news, debate, cultural features, and programs supporting environmental, peace, voluntary-sector, and international solidarity concerns. Spazio Radio broadcasts on 92.9 FM, on DAB+ in Rome and Latina provinces, and through its website, apps, and audio platforms.
