About Timbre FM

Timbre FM is an independent, participatory community radio station based in Augan, Brittany. Founded in 2009 and run by the APRALA association, it broadcasts on 106.6 FM around Guer and presents itself as a rural radio service addressed to the wider world.

Volunteers and staff create an eclectic schedule covering local culture, social issues, the environment, inclusion, education and the social economy. Interviews, community announcements, outside broadcasts, radio documentaries and adventurous music give regional initiatives and diverse voices space on air.
