About Vagos FM
Vagos FM is a local station on 88.8 FM whose story began in 1987 with Rádio Boa Nova, a project founded by Father Manuel da Rocha Creoulo. Broadcasting resumed as Rádio Voz de Vagos in September 1989, and the service later adopted its current name.
Local news and community debate sit beside morning programmes, music, listener requests and features about words, culture and the environment. Its Christian roots remain visible in Sunday religious programming, while podcasts make selected Vagos conversations available on demand.
